Our Process
Getting Started
Out flooring installations start with measurements and creating a material list. This list will be your responsibility to purchase but we make sure you get what will be needed.
Floor Check
After the list is discussed we check the floor for any noticeable issues. Any complications we find will then be addressed before the installation begins. Sometimes when we start the removal process flooring damage or uneven sub-floor can be uncovered. We will always go over issues as they arise and try to give you as many options as possible for repairing.
Subfloor Check*
To install tile or ceramic the sub-flooring needs to be evaluated and has to be flat, also called leveled.
If the subfloor is not level we will give you options on how to fix the issues. We can also give suggestions on what product might be better.
Setting a Time
Once materials are purchased, a date and time for installation is set. We generally start between 7 am and 9 am on a given day.
Pre-Installation
On the day of installation, we will remeasure and check all purchased materials.
Demolition*
We start with the demolition of old flooring. When all demolition is done we will clean and prep the floor for installation.
*This tends to be the longest process when installing tile and ceramic.
Installation
LVP
Depending on which LVP product we are installing, underlayment may need to be put first. Then the LVP will be installed. During installation, we will make sure you understand the installation process.
Tile and Ceramic
Due to the precision that is required installing tile and ceramic is a longer process. Cutting and placing the pieces will take time and you will be kept updated on how it is proceeding.
Carpet
Then we start by installing the carpet padding and replacing or installing tack stripes.

Next, we install your new floor!
Cleaning
We make sure to leave how we came by cleaning the area to get rid of any debris.
Finish
Finally, we walk the area with you for a satisfying new floor in your home
NOTICES
If an area is not leveled correctly, we might refuse to install the product.
All large furniture must be moved from the area before installation can begin.
If any damages are uncovered this will delay the installation process.
We will require a designated area where we can set the materials and work equipment (driveway, garage, etc.).
Depending on the flooring we are removing (glue down flooring, ceramic flooring, Nail down flooring etc.). Prices may vary due to the difficulty of removal.
For Tile and Ceramic flooring, we will need an area to do the cutting of the material (tends to get very dusty).
Why We Check the Floor
Over time damage to your home may occur. Although you may not be aware of any issues, we check your floors for both you and us. We want to make sure we know exactly how the project will go.
